Description

Bentofix® Thermal Lock geosynthetic clay liners (GCLs) – also known as geosynthetic clay barriers (GBR-C) – are needle-punched, reinforced composites that combine two durable geotextile outer layers and a uniform core of high-swelling powder sodium bentonite clay. This forms a uniform, multi-directional, shear-resistant hydraulic barrier with self-sealing and re-healing characteristics.

Bentofix® is used in the following applications:

  • Landfill caps, closures and base seal
  • Environmental protection under roads, railways, airports
  • Dams and dykes
  • Water containment and pond applications
  • Structural waterproofing
  • Secondary containment
  • Mining applications
  • Tunnels

Seasonal Delivery Update

  • Last orders for delivery before Christmas – cut off at 2pm on 17th December 2025. Any orders placed after will be processed on 5th January 2026.
  • Last delivery date before Christmas – 22nd December 2025 (subject to availability)

Delivery times

We may be able to deliver sooner than advertised however, please allow for the delivery times listed on the products you have selected to save disappointment.

We will email you to confirm your delivery date. Please keep an eye out for the email that will also have your VAT receipt.

E.g. 3 – 5 Working days for delivery. If an order is processed on a Monday, 3 working days would be Thursday and 5 working days would be the following Monday.
