Delivery information

Processing Orders

Whilst we accept orders through the website 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year, we only process orders in the office during office hours. 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays.

Any orders placed between 3pm on a Friday and 9am on a Monday will be processed on the Monday morning (excluding Bank Holidays) and have a lead time starting from that point. Therefore, orders placed between these items will be delivered at least product’s described working days from Monday unless otherwise agreed.

Delivery Times

We may be able to deliver sooner than advertised however, please allow for the delivery times listed on the products you have selected to save disappointment.

We will email you to confirm your delivery date. Please keep an eye out for the email that will also have your VAT receipt.

E.g. 3 – 5 Working days for delivery. If an order is processed on a Monday, 3 working days would be Thursday and 5 working days would be the following Monday.

During checkout, you will have the option to select your preferred delivery date at checkout. Please allow a minimum of the working days noted on the products you are buying. All products have their delivery time in working days, on the product page for delivery.

Orders placed after 2pm may be processed on the following working day.

Please note:

  • Carriage charges are subject to change and this page will be updated accordingly.
  • Our delivery charges are based on the value of your order and are not for a faster delivery or any other services outside of our standard offering.
  • Our standard delivery charges cover mainland U.K. (Great Britain) but not cover some rural or outlying areas for example the Scottish Highlands and rural Wales. If you are unsure, please feel free to contact us or email info@onlineinsulation-sales.com before you order.

Delivery Address

During checkout, select your billing address (registered card address), We will not accept orders with the wrong billing address and this could result in cancellation charges.

The below postcodes are excluded from our standard delivery area:

KW, AB, DD, PH19-PH48, ZE, BT, KW, IV, HS, IM, JE, GY, LL, KA, PA, PH, HS, DG9, DG8, SY14-SY25, PO30-PO41, LA11-LA22, CA6-CA28, SA

Order Confirmation

You will receive 2 emails from us:

  • Thank you for your order email.
  • Confirmation email: delivery date, delivery address, any brand changes to your order and any other delivery information.

Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive these emails. If you do not receive both emails, please call us. It is our customers responsibility to read these emails and to make sure you are happy with all of the information within. Please reply to the second email from us if you have any questions or concerns regarding the content of the emails sent to you.

Brand Swaps

We always endeavour to deliver the band of materials that are ordered. In cases where this is not possible, we will email you to advise you of this. If the product that you have ordered is more expensive, than the one being delivered, will will refund the difference.

If we are delivering a more expensive product, we will honour the price you paid. If you are not happy with our brand swap, please let us know at least 24 hours before the delivery date and we will refund your order. If we are not notified of any issues by you or if the delivery is accepted, any retrospective cancellation will incur cancellation fees.

Due to product lead time, we may offer you a “similar approved” product to speed up your delivery. These products will always be on a “like for like” basis. For example, we may offer Kingspan TP10 if our distribution point have no stock of Celotex GA in the required size. We will always check this with you before dispatch via email. Please let us know if this is not suitable.

Receiving Deliveries

Our deliveries are typically made between 8am and 5pm, Monday – Friday excluding Bank Holidays to mainland UK. (Great Britain) We are unable to offer timed deliveries.

All goods must be signed for at point of delivery. Therefore, we ask that someone over 18 years old is available to greet the delivery driver. The driver is not insured to take materials inside your property, we offer a kerbside delivery only.

Please bear in mind that all of our deliveries are made on standard, rigid, curtain sided 26 to 32 Tonne vehicles (similar in size to a double decker bus) and are Kerbside deliveries only. If you are unsure if this vehicle suits your needs, please feel free to contact us before placing your order. They will need to be unloaded on flat, even ground. If you are unsure about access for the vehicle or you need any further assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact us or email info@onlineinsulation-sales.com as our distribution points will charge for re-delivery / re-stocking if access has been restricted on the first attempt or there is nobody to accept the delivery. Redelivery charges are calculated on a case by case basis but a minimum of £100 + vat should be allowed for. We will only deliver to the address that you have requested on your original online order.

We suggest that tradesmen should only be booked once the materials have been delivered to your site or home. We take no responsibility for the cost of tradesmen if your materials do not arrive in time.
