    Description

    The 12.5mm Knauf Fire Resistant Plasterboard or Fire Shield Plasterboard as it is known offers improved fire resistance. 12.5x1200x2400mm Tapered Edge (2.88 M²).
    The 12.5mm Knauf Fire Resistant plasterboard is specifically designed to protect structural aspects of buildings or passageways / corridors in the case of fire. For use as cladding component in partitions and lining systems. Ideal for receiving a plaster finish or for direct decoration. The board includes small quantities of glass fibre and vermiculite which maintain the integrity of the board at high temperatures. Knauf Fire Resistant Plasterboard has a Thermal Conductivity figure of k= 0.24 W/mK.

    A single layer of 12.5mm Knauf Fire Panel on both sides of a metal stud partition provides up to half an hour of fire resistance.
