Resilient Bars
Resilient bars act as the resilient layer that separates the mass of sound resistant plasterboards from the rest of the surface that you are soundproofing. Resilient bars are typically used for soundproofing a separating ceiling or wall. Resilient bars work best if used in conjunction with soundshield plasterboard and an acoustic insulation.
